1 闭嘴!bì zuǐ!
A very rude way to tell someone to stop talking, usually shows that you’re offended or angry.
Literal translation:
闭 bì:to close
嘴 zuǐ:mouth
Example:
A: 你有点儿胖。
B:闭嘴!
A:nǐ yǒu diǎn'r pàng 。
B:bì zuǐ!
A: You're fat.
B: Shut up!
2 别说话!bié shuō huà!
A kind or aggressive way to tell someone not to speak, depends on your tone.
Literal translation:
别 bié:don’t
说话 shuō huà:speak or talk
Example:
A: 我们出去玩儿吧。
B: 别说话,我要睡觉。
A: wǒ men chū qù wán'r ba 。
B: bié shuō huà ,wǒ yào shuì jiào 。
A: Let's hang out.
B: Stop talking, I'm gonna go to bed
3 安静!ān jìng!
A very common word to tell someone to be quiet
Literal translation:
Be quiet
Example:
A:你想看电影吗?
B:安静,我在看书。
A:nǐ xiǎng kàn diàn yǐng ma ?
B:ān jìng ,wǒ zài kàn shū 。
A: Do you wanna watch movies? B: Quiet, I am reading.
